ERW2 – Comparison Reports

Where are we headed? Where have we been?

These reports can help you quickly see where your company, branches, and agents are heading, or were as-of any time, with informative analysis showing changes in the market and business mix. The comparison reports enable you to spot important changes in your business in these different ways:

The above sample is a comparison of companywide closed volume production for two time ranges. Any time range can be specified so you can compare year to year, YTD to YTD, month to month, week to week, quarter to quarter, etc.

The report has two comparison sections across: a UNITS/sides comparison, which is always included, and the selected production comparison, e.g. volume. With other reports, you can compare GCI, AGCI, NAGCI, Agent Gross Commission, and Company Dollar. Reports in the warehouse will enable you to do comparison reports for your branches and agents in addition to companywide. With still more reports, written production can also be compared for all of the above mentioned levels and figures.

The illustration below defines the various comparisons done for you:

Three vertical sections help you learn what’s going on from three different production measurements. To view changes in the sales mix, i.e. transaction types and business involving co-brokers, the report totals and compares the mixes by "Sale Type" first. Next, to view changes and relative strength by side there is the "Sale Side" comparison of list and sell side business. And third is a section comparing production by property type to help you view production changes in the different market areas and levels.

Note that the branch level and agent level reports can be run all at once for all branches or agents, or just one at a time. When multiple branches and agents are printed each starts on it’s own page.

Another key to anticipating market or production changes is being able to compare the sales pipelines. This is illustrated above where companywide sales that are pending are compared as-of different dates. For example you would want to compare pipelines as of the end of the month to the pipeline as of the same month last year to view the change in one year. Any as-of dates can be specified so you can compare month to month or this year to two years ago, or as-of this quarter end to last, etc.

Note that the same detail comparisons are made by sale type, sale side, and property type and in the production comparison reports. This means that the report can help you spot and then manage changes both in in-house strengths as well as those in the property types.

Note that the above report shows a company-wide pipeline comparison of volume. Pipeline GCI, AGCI, NAGCI, Agent Gross Commission, and Company Dollar can also be compared with other reports (ERW2-15 through ERW2-20).

Further, pipeline comparisons can be made for branch business (ERW2-36 through ERW2-42), and for individual agents (ERW2-57 through ERW2-63).
